P&G Johannesburg

The P&G Johannesburg site is in Sandton and accommodates a variety of business functions. This project was an optimisation with post COVID drivers releasing two floors and retaining one floor only for a capacity of 100 workstations. The aim was to create an inspirational workplace which motivates and fulfils employees’ aspirations and supports employee attraction and retention. Influences from street art in the Maboneng Precinct were used as motifs together with natural woods and biophilic elements. A local artist was commissioned to produce artwork pieces for the open collaborative area to recognize local culture influences in the design. A staff opening video had fantastic feedback comments such as “love the new space, the energy and mood has elevated”, “enables is to collaborate and relax and is so beautifully put together”, “very important for our people in these unprecedented times and attractive to new employees”! The P&G Johannesburg site is a leased site with a population of 257 people accommodating a total area of 23,874 square feet.
